Angel 2000

This pattern is a bit "open", allowing the background to be seen. Also, using only a single color lends an "airy" feel to the whole scene.

Angel 2006
Date added: 2006-09-25

I've mounted the angel with silver edges and a thin satin band for hanging on Christmas trees. The angel is sewn on linen (12 threads/cm) with black DMC thread or Dansk Blomstergarn nr. 240.
The design is sewn with cross- and back stitches.
To me, cross stitching is about exploring as
many different directions as possible, experimenting,
developing and constantly being curious. What
interests me, is the initial idea and the shaping
of the motive. Some of my results can be seen on this
website. Enjoy, Bodil.
