The First Six Months (2008)
Date added: 2008-02-28
Each square on the runner displays an interpretation of what I think is special for each of the first six months of the year. I've chosen the orange fields to make a special effect across the runner.

Vase-Runner (2008)
Date added: 2008-03-06

The runner is stitched on a band of linen, about 16 centimeters across, 8 threads per centimenter. Stitch the runner together, so that it forms a pocket (as shown on the photo). Put a glass/vase into the pocket for flowers, or fill it with chocolates. The pocket can also lie flat on its side.

To me, cross stitching is about exploring as
many different directions as possible, experimenting,
developing and constantly being curious. What
interests me, is the initial idea and the shaping
of the motive. Some of my results can be seen on this
website. Enjoy, Bodil.
